How do I tune my guitar with this online tuner?

Allow the microphone, play one open string and look at the needle: left of center is flat (tighten), right is sharp (loosen). When the center lights up green the string is in tune. Tap a peg to lock the tuner on that string.

From the thickest string to the thinnest: E2 (82.41 Hz), A2 (110 Hz), D3 (146.83 Hz), G3 (196 Hz), B3 (246.94 Hz) and E4 (329.63 Hz).

Yes. Choose BASS for a 4 or 5-string bass (B E A D G) or UKULELE for G C E A. The AUTO lever turns it into a chromatic tuner for any note.

What is A=432 or A=442?

Accepted Answer

It is the reference pitch. 440 Hz is the international standard; many orchestras tune to 442. Tap the arrows next to A= to change it.
